Practical Magic Herbs has been a fixture in Downtown Duncan since 1999 offering quality health and wellness products, fun and useful gifts and great customer service.

Duncan is the business center of the Cowichan Valley and the downtown core is both vital and unique in offering a collection of fine boutique stores and cafes. A shopping and dining experience unlike any other. It is in this wonderful environment that Practical Magic decided to make a home.  

The name of our store reflects at once our philosophy about health and reverence for what constitutes a large percentage of product in our store..Practical....Magic....Herbs...because they are very practical, having only to grow out of the ground to be extremely powerful and useful, and quite magical and wonderous by how beneficial they are to everyone.

We carry over 200 varieties of bulk herbs, unique to this part of the island, as well as many teas, tinctures, essential oils and capsules. Add that to the many other products, gifts and an in-store Acupuncture Clinic and you have a unique, one-stop-shopping and health experience you won't soon forget.
